Calendar and planning

The calendar is where you plan when posts get written. Lyra writes the posts due each day automatically, so planning sets the pace of your blog. This page covers planning a week, cadence, and resetting plans.

The calendar view

The calendar is a monthly grid, Monday first, with all dates in UTC. Planned and scheduled posts appear as colored chips on their dates. Click a chip to open that post.

Plan the next 7 days

Use Plan next 7 days to line up a week of posts from your discovered topics.

1. Open Calendar.
2. Click Plan next 7 days.
3. On Growth and Scale, pick a cadence in the picker that appears. On fixed plans, Lyra plans at your plan's rate.

Planning needs a connected repo and active agents. If either is missing, the button is disabled.

When a planned topic would compete with a post you already have, or falls outside your content focus, Lyra swaps it for a better one. She sees what you have published, planned, and written while she does, so replacements do not repeat your existing posts. If no replacement can be found, that day plans one fewer post. The planning entry in Activity says how many topics were replaced.

If planning cannot reach Claude, because your Anthropic balance ran out or your key stopped working, the planning log says so, rather than reporting that no topics were found.

Lyra tops up your calendar automatically while two days of posts are still waiting, so a single failed top-up does not leave the next day empty.

Cadence

Cadence is how many posts Lyra writes over a period. It follows your plan:

• Starter writes up to 15 posts a month.
• Growth writes up to 50 a month and lets you set a custom cadence.
• Scale writes up to 150 a month and lets you set a custom cadence.

Reset planned posts

Reset planned cancels every planned post from today forward. It is a clean way to re-plan.

• Planned posts, today and future, are cancelled.
• Posts already in flight, in review, or with a PR are untouched.
• Cancelled posts can be rewritten later.
