Configure your website

Your website settings tell Lyra what your blog is about, which keywords to target, and which pages to link to. Lyra fills most of this in during onboarding by reading your site. You refine it in Settings > Website.

Good settings sharpen discovery, improve internal linking, and let Lyra verify prices before a post ships.

Content focus

The content focus describes what your site is about and who it is for. It drives what Discovery looks for and how Writer frames each post.

Keep it specific. A focus like "developer tooling for backend teams shipping APIs" gives Lyra a sharper target than "software".

Keywords

You set two kinds of keywords:

  • Main keyword. The single term you most want to rank for. It appears as a pill on the site context bar in Overview.
  • Tracked keywords. The secondary terms Lyra targets and tracks positions for over time.

Lyra writes toward these keywords and reports their search positions in Analytics.

Tracked links

Tracked links are your own pages that the writer and reviewer cross-link to. Setting them improves internal linking and unlocks price verification.

LinkWhat it does
Blog indexLets Lyra link new posts to related posts on your blog
DocsLets Lyra link to your documentation where relevant
Pricing pageEnables price verification for any prices a post cites

Leave a field blank to skip it. Lyra only cross-links to links you provide.

Price verification

When you set a pricing page, Lyra verifies any prices a post mentions against that page and requires a "current as of post date" note. Price verification only runs when a pricing-page URL is set. This keeps stale prices out of your posts. See Review scores.

Edit your settings

  1. Go to Settings > Website.
  2. Update your content focus, keywords, or tracked links.
  3. Save. New discovery and writing use the updated settings.

Delete a website

The Website settings tab has a danger zone for deleting the site. Deleting is owner-only and is blocked for your last remaining website and while a paid subscription is active. See Multiple websites before you delete.
