Troubleshooting

Fixes for the issues that come up most. Each entry lists the symptom, the likely cause, and what to do. If none of these solve it, contact the team at info@trylyra.ai.

Account and access

Issue: The verification email never arrives

Symptoms: No 6-digit code after signing up.

Diagnosis: The email is filtered.

Resolution: Check spam and promotions, mark the message "Not spam", and use Resend after the cooldown.

Issue: I am stuck on the access list

Symptoms: You verified your email but cannot reach the dashboard.

Diagnosis: Your access request is still pending in the controlled rollout.

Resolution: Wait for Lyra's access-granted email, then sign back in. If you were invited to a project, accept the invitation instead.

Repository

Issue: My repo is not in the picker

Symptoms: The repository is missing from the list.

Diagnosis: The Lyra GitHub App is not installed on that repo.

Resolution: Click Install GitHub App, grant access to the specific repository, then reopen the picker. See Connect your repository.

Issue: Scoping is stuck

Symptoms: The status stays on "Cloning" or "Reading".

Diagnosis: A large repo takes longer, or a transient error occurred.

Resolution: Wait for the scan to finish, then use Re-scope if it does not complete.

Writing

Issue: Write now is disabled

Symptoms: The Write now button is greyed out.

Diagnosis: Agents are paused, the repo is not connected, or you reached your monthly post limit.

Resolution: Resume agents in Settings > Agents, connect a repo, or review usage in Billing.

Issue: A run failed

Symptoms: A topic or run shows a failed or errored state.

Diagnosis: A transient error, or a Claude rate limit.

Resolution: Use Retry or Write now on the post, or Restart on the run. See below for rate limits.

Issue: Runs pause with a rate limit

Symptoms: Posts stop and a run reports a rate limit.

Diagnosis: Your Claude account hit its rate limit.

Resolution: Lyra paces herself and hibernates the project briefly, then resumes on her own. To raise the ceiling, adjust the limits on your Anthropic account. See Add your Claude key.

Reviewing and merging

Issue: A post has a merge conflict

Symptoms: The PR shows "Open, merge conflict" or "Conflict, needs a human".

Diagnosis: Your blog directory changed after Lyra opened the PR, and she could not rebase automatically.

Resolution: Open the pull request on GitHub, resolve the conflict against your default branch, and merge. See Reviewing and merging.

Issue: A post is stuck in review

Symptoms: The post keeps iterating and never reaches Ready.

Diagnosis: Lyra cannot clear the score bar within the maximum iterations.

Resolution: The post moves to Needs human and appears in the Needs you queue. Review the reviewer panel, fix or accept the flagged issues, or use Start over. See Review scores.

Analytics

Issue: Search or Traffic shows "coming soon"

Symptoms: The Search or Traffic tab is not available.

Diagnosis: Your deployment has these masked, or you have not connected Google.

Resolution: Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics from their tabs. The SEO and backlinks tab is always available. See Analytics.

Billing

Issue: I cannot manage billing

Symptoms: The Billing page is empty or missing options.

Diagnosis: You are not the workspace owner, or billing is not configured.

Resolution: Only the owner can manage billing. Confirm your deployment has Stripe configured. See Billing.

Issue: Writing stopped mid-month

Symptoms: New posts will not start and usage looks full.

Diagnosis: You reached your plan's monthly post limit.

Resolution: Wait for the cycle to reset, add an extra-posts pack, or upgrade. See Add-ons.
